What is it?

Freedom Fortress is a tool to continue the R3VOLution long after the primaries. Our hope of electing Ron Paul will inevitably fade from our minds, but our commitment to liberty and limited government must not!

Freedom Fortress takes the idea of the Meetup mailing lists and erases the boundaries. If you are a member of multiple neighboring Meetup groups, you may be frustrated by having to send your messages to multiple mailing lists and by the duplicate messages you receive when others do the same.

When you join Freedom Fortress, messages you send to the mailing list will be broadcast to other Freedom Fortress members within a geographic radius that you specify. Additionally, you can choose from how far away you wish to receive messages from other members.

You are also able to block individuals whose messages you do not want to see.

How do I use it?

First, join and activate your membership. Then send a message to an email address of the form distance@freedomfortress.net, where distance is a number followed by either mi for miles or km for kilometers. For example, to send a message to members within 25 miles of you, you would send a message to 25mi@freedomfortress.net. Note that members may choose not to receive messages from beyond a particular distance.

When you reply to messages you have received from other members, your replies will go to the same group of people that the original message went to. In this way each new thread of discussion forms an impromptu group.

Messages you receive will contain links that you can click to block either the sender of that particular message or all future messages in that particular thread.

How can I reach you?
